Pedro Pascal has become one of the most popular name within the entertainment industry in the last couple of year, but that didn’t help in to get into an exhibit that was meant to honor him.
Thanks to productions like The Mandalorian and The Last of Us, Chilean actor Pedro Pascal is now a trend on social media and one of the most beloved celebrities in Hollywood, with almost every director or production company wanting him on board of their projects to make sure they’ll get a big audience.
However, it doesn’t matter how famous Pascal is, that’s not a garantee that he’ll get to play any role he wants, or even that he’ll be able to visit an exhbition that is centered in hilmself. The Rhodes Gallery is currently offering their public a look at a collection titled, ADHD Hyper Fixation And Why It Looks Like I Love Pedro Pascal, by artist Heidi Gentle Burrell. When the actor found out, he went to visiti it but it turned out the gallery was closed.
However, Pascal was able to pose with his friend Russell Tovey and the galley director Robert Diament outside the place. The co.owner, Jessica Rhodes Robb released a statement through BBC while addressing the situation:
“We’re mortified that they couldn’t get in and our Sunday opening policy is most definitely under review. We’ll be sending Pedro a gift from the show by way of apology.”
What’s Next for Pedro Pascal?
After years of taking small roles on television and cinema, Pascal has slowly managed to make a big name for himself, and that’s reflected on his upcoming projects. This year, after a more than successful first season of The Last of Us and the return of The Mandalorian, he also starred in the animated series HouseBroken, and in Strange Way of Life, a shorfilm directed by Pedro Almodovar, which also features Ethan Hawke.
Besides that, he has four big movie titles coming up next. He recently joined Paul Mescal, Joseph Quinn and Denzel Washington on Gladiator 2, which has stopped filming du to the current strikes at Hollywood. The film will be once again directed by Ridley Scott, and will center on the adult version of Lucius, nephew of Joaquin Phoenix’s Commdus.
He is also part of the cast of Ethan Coen’s Drive-Away Dolls along with Margaret Qualley, Geraldine Viswanathan, Beanie Feldstein, Colman Domingo, Bill Camp, Matt Damon, and Joey Slotnick. The story focuses on two friends who embark on a trip to relax, but their adventure takes an unexpected turn when a group of criminals gets in their way.
Freaky Tales, an upcoming drama film directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck is also on the list of next projects for Pedro Pascal, a movie that also features Ben Mendelsohn, Jay Ellis, Jack Champion, and the late Angus Cloude, among many others.
And of course, Pascal will return as Joel in the second season of The Last of Us, which is also currently on pause because of the strikes.
