The actor and former WWE star revealed that before he reached celebrity status, he was actually homeless! That’s right! John Cena opened up about a much more difficult period in his life and became candid about his pre-stardom struggles.
During his new interview for The Sun, Cena revealed that in the past he slept in the back seat of his car simply because he didn’t have a place of his own.

“I slept in my car for a while, which happened to be a very roomy 1991 Lincoln Town Car. I had my clothes in the trunk and slept in the back seat.’
At the time, the star apparently worked in a gym, yet the wages he received would not have been enough to pay all the bills.
Cena remembered that “I would wake up, use the locker room and shower, and then repeat the process all over again.”

Fans may know that John Cena first moved to Los Angeles in 1999.
Unfortunately for him, his father was not at all behind this decision as he was more than sure that his son would not be able to fulfill his dreams there.
Fortunately for the WWE star who went on to become a successful actor, his father was wrong, although it certainly wasn’t easy at first.
Cena told the news station that “Daddy told me I’d be home in two weeks with my tail between my legs. Sure enough, I went through all my resources quickly and had to think. I didn’t want to go home crying.’
The versatile celeb has already appeared in a number of films, including Trainwreck, alongside comedian Amy Schumer, and in Bumblebee!
Plus, his upcoming role in the sequel to The Suicide Squad might just be his biggest yet!
