After announcing that Super awesome star Aaron Taylor-Johnson Kraven the hunter in the upcoming Sony Spider Man spin-off, some fans have wondered if the actor is really the right choice for the Marvel role. Well, a new work of art from the talented artist Boss Logic may somewhat convince the doubters, portraying Taylor-Johnson as a stoic, windy warrior, determined to become the greatest hunter who ever lived, as evidenced by his lion-faced fur coat. .
This quintessentially stunning work of art from BossLogic certainly shows just how good the actor could look in the role of Kraven the hunterdepending on how well Sony adheres to the character’s depiction in the comic book’s source material. Based on the studio’s Marvel spin-off series so far including Venom and Morbius, it’s quite likely that Kraven looks about the same as he does on the page, and so this artwork could be pretty close to what the public will see in Kraven’s big screen debut.
Although there will certainly still be people who are not sure if Aaron Taylor-Johnson can pull it off, the actor has proven his versatile talent time and again, able to jump from weak, nerdy types to brutal action heroes in a single band, as evidenced by the likes of Nowhere boy, nocturnal animals, and The wall, and Tenet as well as several comic book franchises such as the Super awesome series and Avengers: Age of Ultron. In fact, the actor is clearly far from done with comic book movies, having signed up to star in director Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man next Kraven the hunter.
While the specific plot of Kraven the hunter currently unknown, the film will likely tell the beloved supervillain’s origin story in much the same way as Venom and Morbius for the. Therefore Kraven the hunter is expected to follow the exploits of the Marvel character created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko for The great Spider Man # 15 back in 1964.
Born Sergei Kravinoff, Kraven grew up in Russia during the Russian Revolution. After finding employment in Kenya, Africa, Kraven began his career with the typical hunter’s tools, but over time developed a preference for taking down large animals with his bare hands. After meeting a voodoo medicine man named Calypso, Kravinoff is given an herbal drink that enhances his strength, speed and senses and prolongs his life. Eventually, Kraven gets tired of hunting big game and is attracted Spider Man, slowly becoming obsessed with being the man who caught the friendly neighborhood mall crawler.
Previous attempts to bring the character to life on the big screen were said to have been based on one of Kraven’s most iconic stories, Kraven’s last hunt, who follow the Marvel villain on his quest to track down and kill Spider-Man. Since Spider-Man is unlikely to appear in the movie, you can expect major changes in the source material. Would Kraven be about to hunt Tom Hardy’s Venom instead of the friendly neighborhood wall crawler?
Kraven the hunter is directed by J. C. Chandor (A most violent year, Triple Frontier) with Art Marcum and Matt Holloway rewriting a script previously commissioned by Richard Wenk. Kraven the hunter is now scheduled for release on January 13, 2023. Has this artwork changed your mind? Or would you rather have had one of Sony’s other ones Kraven choices, like Brad Pitt or Keanu Reeves, to take on the role? This is from Boss Logic.
