Loki meet Miss Minutes in a new sneak peak in the Disney Plus series. Her job is to show Loki what he’s done wrong before she finds herself on the trail for time crimes against the entire universe. The God of Mischief loses his clothes, his dignity and his freedom in a new clip from Marvel’s upcoming Disney + series, Loki. The footage kicks off with the fan-favorite supervillain being dragged to the Time Variance Authority before being shackled, gutted, and shamed for messing with the timeline and doing way too much, well, mischief.
The clip once again showcases Tom Hiddleston’s perfect cast as the title character, something that has been evident since he first played the role in 2011’s Thor. Hiddleston’s natural charisma and ability to confidently sell an exasperated look or smug grin will certainly Loki a must see when it becomes available exclusively on Disney + next month.
Loki starts right after the crafty Asgardian steals the coveted Tesseract at the 2019 events Avengers: Endgame. This alternate version of Loki is quickly brought to the mysterious Time Variance Authority, also known as the TVA, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space and guards the timeline. They give Loki a simple choice: either remove the face from existence because it is a “time variant” or help restore the timeline and stop a greater threat. Of course, being Loki, he soon ends up in his own crime thriller, traveling through time and changing human history.
With Owen Wilson as Time Variance Authority agent Mobius M. Mobius, as well as Gugu Mbatha-Raw’s Ravonna Lexus Renslayer, a TVA judge, and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15 alongside Hiddleston, it’s the battle between Loki and the TVA that will constitute the central conflict of the series. “The TVA. An organization that governs the order of time. Fairly large institution. Considerable responsibility to make sure that time runs according to predetermined rules,” Hiddleston said earlier of the show. “So you have an attitude that represents order, and a character that represents chaos. That’s where the drama begins.”
Hiddleston Loki has remained a hugely popular presence throughout the decade-spanning MCU, so it should come as no surprise that, unlike other Disney + series WandaVision likely to be a one-time limited series, Loki queues up for many more adventures. “The one that comes to mind – and that’s probably no secret – I think there are a lot of stories told in Loki that are really irreverent and smart and cool, but also lends itself to multiple seasons in a way where it’s not one- out, ”Marvel Studios VP of Production & Development Nate Moore recently revealed. “Tom Hiddleston, I think, is doing some of his best work on that show. It’s really amazing. I think about all the great things he’s done, but this show will show such different sides and really the true magnitude of it. his range. I think that show will surprise a lot of people. “
Loki’s The premiere date has recently been brought forward and the show will now air on Wednesdays instead of Fridays, starting on Disney + on June 9, 2021. The first season will consist of six episodes and the show will be part of Phase Four of the series. MCU.
