Alec Baldwin used his Twitter account to denounce the trend of people canceling social media for every little mistake that seems to be gaining popularity.

After all, his family, especially his wife, Hilaria, has also fallen victim to all the negativity from social media users calling out her, as you may recall.
With that being said, in his new tweet he likened the practice of ‘canceling’ celebrities online to a highly destructive ‘forest fire’, which needs ‘constant fuel’.

As previously mentioned, his passionate and almost poetic tweet doesn’t come until a day after he also called out to the media for the negative coverage of his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, after her scandal.
You may recall that the woman is embroiled in a controversy over her parentage and its inconsistency.
Alec’s previous post on this was shared on Thursday, pointing out that people can waste their anger pointing it in the wrong direction.
Instead, the actor who played Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live for years insisted that canceling culture is only useful when it’s necessary to keep politicians in check.
“There seems to be a zero-tolerance policy for bad behavior everywhere, except where it matters most: the US Congress,” he lamented.
