Ray Fisher is again angry with WarnerMedia and the way they deal with social justice and race relations within their company. Earlier today, former police officer Derek Michael Chauvin was found guilty of George Floyd’s death and convicted of murder on all charges. Shortly after the verdict was read, WarnerMedia posted a response to social media, which you can see in the Tweet below from the media conglomerate.
“THE WORK CONTINUES. While this verdict will not bring back the people we so falsely lost, we know it will bring us closer to significant changes. We reaffirm our commitment to being part of the solution to buying our platforms, content and resources. to promote racial equality and social justice. “
This statement did not sit well with the Cyborg actor Ray Fisher, who accused Joss Whedon of abuse and misconduct on the set of Warner Bros. and DC Films’ Justice League during reshoots. An investigation was opened, but Fisher never felt that justice was fully served in the case. He has continued to crusade the studio and various individuals within the company. Things seemed to look up as the actor claimed that Cyborg might come in The flash film like Warner Bros. apologized to him.
Ray Fisher was originally supposed to play The flash film alongside Ezra Miller. But after the allegations came and an investigation started, Warner Bros. sever ties with Fisher. It has never been announced whether Cyborg’s character was cut The flash, or if there was a realignment going on behind the scenes. Fisher’s appearance in the movie seems more unlikely now, after tweeting his angry response to WarnerMedia.
How f * cking DARE @WarnerMedia?!?!?! Oh, now I’m pissed off … “
After Ray Fisher gave his response, many came forward to support the actor. Soon the hashtag #IStandWithRayFisher started to evolve again, just like it did then Zack Snyder’s Justice League was finally released on HBO Max last March. Many Zack Snyder and Ray Fisher fans are angry with WarnerMedia and how they have handled this situation so far. You can check out some of the tweets from those angry fans below.
