Tom Hardy dresses up as Wolverine in a fan art piece that the Venom star who plays the Marvel character. As it stands now, the X-Men will be rebooted when the superhero team is reintroduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. No casting information has yet been revealed for who will star Logan and his colleagues in the MCU, but JPH Photoshop on Instagram has nominated Hardy with the digital fan art. Watch it below.
Considering he did such a great job VenomHardy’s name has come up a lot with Marvel fans as a good option for the next live action WolverineHe’s not the only actor to be suggested for the role, as Taron Egerton has also been cast in the role by fans in hopes of Kingsman star portray Logan. Some other popular names with fans include Karl Urban, Daniel Radcliffe, and Dacre Montgomery.
In any case, it won’t be an easy feat for a new actor to be accepted by fans as the new Wolverine. Between 2000 and 2017, Hugh Jackman played the long-term role to perfection X-Men movie franchise. This gives him the distinction of having the longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero, an achievement recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. Needless to say, Jackman has made a big impression on Marvel fans for his time in the role, and it seems incredibly challenging to follow the actor’s iconic performance.

Although there are indeed plans to use the X-Men sometime in the future in the MCU, no one has been officially cast as Wolverine or any of the other characters. In January, Marvel head Kevin Feige spoke with Collider while promoting WandaVision and were asked whether certain actors were being considered for Wolverine.
“No,” Feige said bluntly, suggesting that Marvel Studios hasn’t gotten that far with them X-Men plan. Still, Feige says their introduction to the MCU has been “heavily discussed” and the team has a “good sense of where it’s going.” Obviously, it’s only a matter of time before the next live-action Wolverine finally arrives with a new actor in the role, but that still doesn’t change the fact that Marvel has so many other projects in the works already. Even with ongoing discussions, it could hypothetically take years before the new one starts X-Men film is under development.
Either way, we’ll be seeing more of Hardy doing this thing in comic book movies. After the enormous success of Venom at the box office in 2018, Hardy is poised to reprise the role in the upcoming sequel Venom: Let There Be CarnageThe sequel, directed by Andy Serkis, also stars Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Reid Scott and Naomie Harris. It serves as a direct sequel to the original, with Venom now chasing serial killer Cletus Kasady, who becomes the supervillain Carnage.
