Tori Spelling made an April Fool’s joke that many considered insensitive and she now apologizes! As you may know, the actress posted that she is expecting baby number 6, but that was all just a joke!
It all started with Tori posting a photo of her rocking a pretty big belly and in the caption she simply wrote, ‘No. 6. ‘

After the post, she explained that she did it as revenge on the press for always physically shaming her.
However, she didn’t realize how painful her “joke” would be for those struggling to conceive.
With that being said, she issued an apology shortly afterward.

‘Every week the press and magazines ask if I am pregnant. I am not to set things right. The fact is that after my 5th baby my body does not bounce back like before. That’s when the constant questions of ‘one more’ pregnancy first started. Unless you’re out in the open, it’s hard to understand what it feels like to be so publicly shamed. I feel like I have to constantly defend my body, when I should just honor it for the miracle of life it has given me 5 times. ‘
She went on to acknowledge that “I know pregnancy is an extreme blessing. And I would never deliberately poke fun at losing a child or not being able to bear a child. I have had a miscarriage myself. [….] For those who are hurt, I hear you. I love you. I welcome your stories and I will do my best to be there and support you. ‘
But even after this message from her, some were still hurt and upset, especially since she didn’t exactly apologize for the pregnancy kick.
At the same time, others defended her and understood where the star came from with her mail.
