The answer is no. Unlike many other Americans who are still trapped across America, Britney Spears did not watch the viral Hulu documentary about herself titled Framing Britney SpearsBut she did see some footage of it. The pop icon admits that after watching a few scenes from the popular streaming event, she couldn’t stop crying for two weeks. And that she was ashamed of the whole thing.
Britney Spears shared her response to the documentary on Instagram. The film is produced by the New York Times, and the singer doesn’t enjoy the light it brings in her. She says this about her experience with the Framing Britney Spears documentary.
“My life has always been very speculated … watched … and really judged my whole life !!! For my sanity I have to dance every night of my life to @iamstevent to feel wild and human and alive !!! I’ve been exposed to human appearances all my life !!! It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability as I’ve always been judged like that … offended … and embarrassed by the media … and I still am to this day !!!! “
“As the world keeps spinning and life goes on, we are still as vulnerable and sensitive as humans !!! I didn’t see the documentary, but from what I did see it made me feel ashamed of the light they put me in. I have cried for two weeks and well … I do cry sometimes !!! I do what I can in my own spirituality with myself to try to keep my own joy … love … and happiness !!!! Dancing every day brings me joy !!! I am not here to be perfect … perfect is boring … I am here to pass on kindness !!!! “
Britney Spears’ words were accompanied by a video of the pop star dancing to Areosmith’s Crazy. She throws the devil’s sign and continues to play air guitar while spinning around in a red halter top. She posted a second video saying, “I was dancing wildly to @aerosmith last night at 2am.”
Even before the documentary arrived on Hulu, Britney Spears said she always felt “ judged, insulted and shamed by the media. ” She’s been closely examined and under a microscope since the day her schoolgirl video ‘… Baby One More Time’ hit MTV in heavy rotation in 1998, when the cable channel was actually playing music videos. With a career spanning more than two decades, Spears has never been out of the spotlight. But Framing Britney Spears has made her more popular and lovable in recent months.
Britney Spear’s latest instagram is the first time she’s commenting on the Framing Britney Spears documentary, which was released on Hulu last February, almost two months ago. However, she offered her fans a few words on the initial release, indirectly referring to the provocative film.
“Each person has their own story and their take on other people’s stories !!!! We all have so many different wonderful, beautiful lives !!! Remember that it doesn’t matter what we think we know about someone’s life, it’s nothing compared to the real person’s life behind the lens !!!! “
Shortly after the release of Framing Britney SpearsRumors began circulating that Spears was working on her own version of the story, whether in a follow-up documentary or biopic. Spears seems to be most concerned with the ongoing struggle for her conservatorship and dealings with father Jamie Spears. Last week, Spears officially asked that her father would no longer be her permanent curator, and that her care manager Jodi Montgomery would step into that role. Last month, Spears was given the right to put an asset management company in charge of its finances. They will also act as co-curator alongside Jamie Spears for the time being.
The makers behind Framing Britney Spears say there is enough material for a sequel. This could happen sometime this year. But neither the New York Times nor Hulu have confirmed that a second documentary is officially moving forward.
