The Lone Ranger and Call me by your name star has been removed from the upcoming drama Billion dollar spy, which he is said to have played in opposite Mads Mikkelsen. This comes after he lost a string of other prominent roles in high profile movies. And its next release Death on the Nile has been postponed to at least 2022.
Filmmaker Amma Asante will direct Billion dollar spy, which is described as a Cold War thriller. Walden Media has declined to comment further on Armie Hammer’s departure. Billion dollar spy was the last film that Armie Hammer had on its threatening slate, and every studio he worked with had cut ties with the controversial actor. A number of other projects with Hammer wrapped up before the rape allegations went public.

The woman behind the Instagram account is the one who is now accusing Hammer of rape. Hammer’s lawyers have repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.
