Ezra Miller’s return as Barry Allen is teased in a new teaser before Zack Snyder’s Justice LeagueLeading up to this month’s release of the four-hour Snyder Cut, character teasers and posters have been released for various individual members of the titular team of superheroes. Starting with the superhero catching a Batarang in mid-air, the teaser highlights The Flash’s return in the upcoming movie, and you can watch the video below.
Other characters who have released their own teasers in recent days include Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. Each superhero also got their own new character posters, and Snyder tweeted the poster with Ezra Miller as The flash
Because there was so much footage of the original Justice League left on the cutting room floor, the Snyder Cut required very few new recordings. Although he has been busy with Fantastic Beasts 3, Miller was part of the reshoots, although his recording had to be done digitally via Zoom.
“I had to make a recording of Ezra when we did this little bit,” Snyder told YouTube channel Beyond the Trailer last year. ‘You know, he’s busy Fantastic beasts, and that’s in London, and unfortunately we wouldn’t travel to London. I would have loved to … So what we did was we picked it up on a Zoom, and the Fantastic beasts crew, I sent them these drawings. I was like, ‘Okay, this is what he has to do, this is where he is.’ ”
Zack Snyder’s Justice League brings back Ezra Milleras The Flash alongside Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. A revamped version of the Joker with Suicide Squad star Jared Leto reprising the role will also be featured. Other recurring DCEU characters include Amy Adams as Lois Lane, J.K. Simmons as James Gordon, Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
Because Snyder imagined it Justice League As the first of a trilogy, the Snyder Cut will end in a major cliffhanger that will likely never be resolved. The director revealed this at IGN Fan Fest 2021, explaining why the movie had to end like this.
“Well, it had to be two more movies,” Snyder said. “It refers, as you would, to a potential other world. I would plant the seeds as I would have liked of what was to come in the later movies. It says that, but as far as the stories that would come – if that ever happened, which it doesn’t look like – but I think it’s easy to speculate based on that and we can talk about that for a while. It’s a cliffhanger … The movie ends in a huge cliffhanger, yeah . “
Zack Snyder’s Justice League begins streaming on HBO Max on March 18. The new teaser and poster featuring Ezra Miller as The Flash comes from Zack Snyder on Twitter.
