According to People, the fake post included not only a false statement from the actress, but also a photo of her and her boyfriend, rapper, Machine Gun Kelly, in public and at the time Megan had a mask in her hand.
Fans also quickly noticed that the fake post was in fact photoshopped over an older post by Megan from 2014, in which she spoke out against bullying!
It was pretty shocking to her that a fake post went viral, but it clearly didn’t bother her that much, especially after clearing things up.
Besides, Megan is way too happy and in love these days to care too much about the trolls online.
The couple just spent a wonderful Valentine’s Day together and in a post to celebrate, MGK even revealed that he loves the actress so much that he always wears a bottle of her blood around his neck!
“I’m wearing your blood around my neck, my damn valentine,” he captioned the photo of the necklace that appeared to contain a drop of blood.
