Bam Margera’s chance to play Acorn 4 has disappeared, the New York Post revealed today. TMZ was the first to pick up a statement from the infamous reality star confirming that he had been fired from production due to his drinking habit and other behavioral issues, more specifically his refusal to clean up that was part of his contract.
Bam is currently battling mental health issues, which is why he had to step down, The Post wrote today. The entertainment newscast says Bam has broken the contract by refusing to keep his drug and alcohol addiction under control.

TMZ says a lot about the Jackass cast and crew are concerned about Bam and want him to be a part of it, but they just can’t let him participate due to health reasons. Margera revealed last Friday that he is getting help after releasing a few social media videos that didn’t resonate well with the media or his fans.
Bam was reportedly listed via IMDb but was subsequently removed. Bam later claimed to have discovered that he had manic bipolar disorder. Sources speaking with TMZ claimed that Bam was offered a set of conditions that he would have to meet if he wanted to participate in the sequel.

Some of the conditions included things like taking bladder testers, urinalysis, routine drug tests, seeing a psychologist, and taking appropriate medications. Like Jackass Fans know that Bam’s health issues come along with a series of issues the other men on the cast and crew have endured since the reality series first hit MTV in 2000.
The MTV series was so popular before the days of social media, YouTube and other shows that it sparked a massive franchise of movies and spin-offs, including shows like Viva La Bam, and more.
An unintentional but clearly anticipated part of the show was injuries, but painkiller prescriptions snowballed and addiction came next. In 2019, Bam Margera pleaded with Dr. Phil for help in a video on social media, but since then he’s been working on things like skateboarding, which he’s loved for years.
