The complete The Falcon and the Winter Soldier trailer is now available after a thirty second spot aired during the big game. We now have all the Marvel action for you, with lots of new footage not released during the big Disney investor day. For those who complain WandaVision moves too slow, this seems like nothing but big MCU action.
Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The studio took advantage of the Super Bowl to promote the highly anticipated Disney + series. WandaVision is currently streaming and is keeping all Marvel Cinematic Universe fans wary of the mystery. Each week, the series peels off more layers to slowly let everyone know exactly what is happening in Wanda Maximoff’s current reality. As regards The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it seems more in line with what we’re used to from Marvel Studios.
The latest trailer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier features a ton of new footage, including a short tease from Emily VanCamp’s Sharon Carter. The actress played reluctant for a long time when asked about her involvement in the upcoming Disney + series, but later confirmed that she had finished filming in late September 2020. There are also short looks and US Agent and some action-packed scenes with Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. Both actors also apply their comedic skills in the new images.
The Super Bowl trailer doesn’t spoil anything, and MCU super fans will still wonder who will take over the Captain America nickname when the show debuts. Anthony Mackie has confirmed that the series will provide that answer, although he will neither confirm nor deny that Sam Wilson is the man taking over from Steve Rogers. With that being said, fans definitely want Wilson to be the one to take over since Rogers passed his shield on to him at the end of Avengers: Endgame.
While The Falcon and the Winter Soldier trailer doesn’t spoil anything, it does give a fresh take on the latest costume designs for Falcon and Winter Soldier, along with some new weapons. Everything looks up-to-date and slick, which goes to show that Marvel Studios treats their Disney + shows as if they were big screen projects. WandaVision has already proven that, especially in the last few episodes, which include a ton of visual effects, which have been praised by fans and critics alike. While WandaVision was missing from the action department, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier it looks like it will definitely make up for this.
Besides Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier also stars Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp and Wyatt Russell. Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and The Winter Soldier finds our heroes, the couple who came together in the last moments of Avengers: Endgame work together on a global adventure that will test their capabilities and their patience. The new series will be directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman as the lead writer.
