According to reports, Keith Urban got into a fight with someone during a Merry Widow performance. Apparently the fellow opera lover hit his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, with his show ‘to death’ and the man couldn’t help but stand up for her!
The whole thing was supposed to take place at the Sydney Opera House last month.

The altercation reportedly started when the other man became annoyed, the pair got up to applaud the performance at the end as he sat behind them, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
The same outlet reported that Keith explained that they simply showed their appreciation for the show by giving it a standing ovation.
However, this prompted the other man to “ slap ” Nicole with his program, prompting Keith to accuse him of assaulting his wife.

As a result, he quickly called security, who then escorted the married couple and Nicole’s mother, Janelle, who was also there, safely out of the opera house.
Then they separately also escorted the other man outside.
But that was not all! A source said Nicole was quite visibly upset as a result of his conflict and that someone else also called the police about the angry man.
The Sydney Morning Herald confirmed that authorities showed up and a report from NSW police reveals: “Police have been told that a 53-year-old man and a 67-year-old man visited the entertainment center and an argument broke out. Officers spoke to both and no further action was taken. ‘
You may or may not know that in the past standing up at the Opera was considered rude, so it makes sense that the older man was triggered, although of course that’s no excuse for his outburst.
Nowadays, however, this has changed and it is a lot less taboo.
