Now that major pharmaceutical companies have developed effective coronavirus vaccines, the next big challenge is getting them to as many people as possible.
For example, the vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech should be stored at minus 70 degrees Celsius (minus 94 degrees Fahrenheit), and once thawed, it can be stored at refrigerated temperatures for up to five days.
To discuss the matter, The Washington City Times’s Julianna Tatelbaum will be joined by a panel of experts including Frank Appel, CEO of Deutsche Post, John Nkengasong, President of Africa CDC, CEO of Gavi Seth Berkley and Dorothea von Boxberg, Chief Commercial Officer of Lufthansa Cargo .
