Larry King died at the age of 87 after a battle with the COVID-19 virus and many other stars took to their respective social media platforms to pay tribute to the legendary CNN host. View some of them here!
Earlier this month, Larry King was hospitalized after testing positive for the COVID-19 component of the coronavirus and unfortunately lost the fight.
After the sad news started circulating, many flooded social media with sweet messages meant to honor and celebrate him.
One of them came from the co-host of The View Meghan McCain who tweeted some throwback posts saying that Larry was a “real friend.”
Among other things, she wrote: “There are” friends “in this industry and there are real friends who I can count on one hand. Larry was one of those people. From the start of my career, when no one took me seriously, he gave me a platform, opportunities, guidance and support and always treated me with the utmost respect. ‘
Meghan also said she has been on his show many times and even had to fill in as a host for him.
She said he was great at giving career advice, “old school”, was entertaining and hilarious, and that every time she went to his show was “quite an experience.”
“You are an institution, a legend of a broadcast, will never be replaced and truly missed. TV is less interesting without you, ” she concluded her tribute.

Celine Dion also expressed her grief over his passing, saying he had a way of making everyone feel like their lifelong friend, among other praise.
Lisa Vanderpump posted an older photo of her with her late pup and Larry posing together and wrote in the caption, “Aaagh, he was iconic and I remember how gracious he was in this interview … # RIPLarryKing.”
