Last year, Billie Lourd surprised her fans when she revealed she had secretly welcomed a baby! That said, it turns out the star has wanted to become a mom for a long time!
At the time, she didn’t tell her followers about the new addition to the family until after welcoming her son, named Kingston.
But now the actress is opening up about the pregnancy, her relationship with fiancé Austen Rydell and more!
Speaking to SiriusXM’s Bruce Bozzi for Quarantined With Bruce, Billie said her son is “not technically a quarantine baby” since she fathered him before the COVID-19 pandemic took over the world.
In addition, Lourd explained why becoming a mother was actually a blessing in disguise during this time.
“Kingston was conceived before quarantine. So technically he’s just a Caribbean baby. I didn’t know it happened, but it turned out to be some kind of blessing in disguise to have a quarantine baby. But he’s not a quarantine baby, because I have to keep it to myself. And only my family knew. ‘
She went on to share why her pregnancy was such an amazing experience: ‘Everyone was so surprised when we posted that picture of his feet, and it became something that I only shared with the people I loved most, which was so incredible and made my pregnancy magical and amazing, which I didn’t expect. I have to eat delicious food, hang out with all the people I love. I took a hypno birth class and loved being pregnant. ‘
Billie also said during the interview that the quarantine certainly strengthened her relationship with her fiancé as well.
She said the time they spent together in lockdown was “incredible.”
Plus, according to the new mom, motherhood is even better than she ever imagined!
