Sofia Richie came forward this week to defend Olivia Jade Giannulli after she appeared Red Table Talk to talk about what her parents did to get her to the University of Southern California. Last Tuesday, Jada shared a clip of Olivia’s Red Table Talk appearance in which they discussed the controversy surrounding her parents’ questionable actions.
The clip made it on IG Sofia Richie, which Olivia praised and supported in the comment section. The 22 year old wrote: “yes girl !! can’t wait for what lies ahead. “This clearly did not appeal to many of Olivia Jade’s haters who are still angry with her for what her parents did.

Sofia Richie came under fire from an IG user who said it was just another example of a privileged person supporting another, and Sofia responded by claiming that life was too short for people to wish others harm. and more importantly, she said everyone makes mistakes.
Adrienne Banfield-Norris, Jada Pinkett’s mom, made it clear she didn’t want Olivia Jade on the show. She claimed she fought it as much as possible because she didn’t want Jade there. The star says she found it ironic that three African American women had to contact her to provide Olivia with a platform to save herself.

During its appearance on Red Table Talk, Giannulli made up what she and her parents did. In case you missed it, Lori and Mossimo went to jail earlier this year for the charges after months of fighting in court.
Mossimo and Lori originally tried to combat the charges, defending that they were unaware that they were offering a bribe to William ‘Rick’ Singer, but the system did not buy it.

Amid the coronavirus blockades, Lori and Mossimo pleaded guilty to the charges and it was revealed that they would both spend a short time behind bars.
Mossimo served about twice as much time as Lori, and also paid a much larger fine and spent more hours in the community as well. The decision sparked outrage among some people in the entertainment industry who thought the sentences would have been much more severe had they been black.
